Athletic Clearance Registration

Athletic Clearance -
You must register by following the below process to participate with PVHS Cross Country. Each athlete must be medically cleared/approved, and complete all FHSAA videos prior to the season beginning on July, 27 2026.
ALL CLEARANCE PAPERWORK SHOULD BE SUBMITTED ONLINE BY THE END OF BUSINESS ON MONDAY, JULY 20 2026.
Please follow the following steps for registration -
1 - Team Handbook- Student Athletes and parents should review the Team Handbook. By completing the registration below you acknowledge team rules and guidelines. Click below link - PVXC TEAM HANDBOOK
2 - NFHS Courses - https://nfhslearn.com/courses - On the left margin, select "student", "all" and "free". From there, student athletes need to complete the following four (4) courses:
- Concussion in Sports
- Heat Illness Prevention
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- Sportsmanship
When you complete each video, be certain to SAVE THE CERTIFICATES TO YOUR COMPUTER so can you can upload each during the athletic clearance.com process.
3 - ATHLETIC CLEARANCE - All athletes and their parents/guardians must register at https://www.athleticclearance.com in order to participate with the team. Athletes will not be allowed to start official practice on July 27, 2026 until all necessary forms have been completed and verified (NO EXCEPTIONS).
All athletes must have a completed EL2 form to participate. Below you will find the exact form you need for the 2026/27 season named: EL2 FORM WITH DATE OF 2/26 IN UPPER RIGHT CORNER. Take this form to your doctor and make sure PAGE 4 is filled out and signed by DOCTOR (with OFFICE STAMP) and by BOTH PARENTS AND STUDENT ATHLETE. LINK TO FORM IS BELOW -

ATTENTION INCOMING FRESHMAN - an additional EL1 Form is required for all incoming Freshman. Please read all important information on this requirement with the link below:

If you have a valid EL2 doctors physical form from last season/year (not expired and less than 1 year from date of exam) you are cleared to participate in summer practices until said form has expired. But you must upload the valid EL2 Form ABOVE and follow all steps above for the upcoming season.
YOU ONLY NEED TO SUBMIT PAGE FOUR OF THE EL2!
BOTH PARENT AND STUDENT ATHLETE MUST SIGN/DATE PAGE 4 OF THE EL2!
MAKE SURE THE DOCTOR SIGNS AND DATES AND STAMPS PAGE FOUR!
Get on it!!! Please do not make us turn your athlete away on July 27th because your paperwork wasn't complete!
